Andrew's Hobbies

Andrew's Hobbies

Postby wolfpac on Sun Jun 01, 2008 6:15 pm

I thought I might "announce" this at the next MMRC meeting, but since I know we'll all support them, I decided to announce it early! :D

There's a new model shop that's opened up in Deer Park, in the shopping strip on the corner of the Western Hwy and Station Rd.

From the flyer I picked up:

Andrew's Hobbies
Level 1, Office 1, 811 Ballarat Road, Deer Park
(Upstairs above the Chemist)

Open Thur/Fri 5pm-9pm Sat 9am-2pm

http://www.andrewshobbies.com.au/

Diecast Models / Diorama Accessories / Battery R/C / Model Kits.

Also, Andrew is really keen on becoming a member, and I've already sent him a membership form! So let's make sure we help support him! :D

Cool, and don't forget to mention you're from the MMRC!

I'm wondering if we want to put an order together at all, say from the Woodland Scenics' catalogue, since I'm thinking of getting a couple of things soon to try my hand at a smallish diorama.

Gotta build tracklaying/scenery building somehow! :)

 Well, that's a cheaper trip then! I'm sure a bus fare is a little cheaper than an air fare to NZ, at least!

Nice, but it shows how overpriced and sometimes outright greedy some, not all, people can be!

A discount, plus no trip into the city... Winning all around! :D
