G'day everyone,....

I like that layout,....
I like the fact that it is multi-level,..
Keeps you looking around rather than a flat lay-out you tend to look over.

How tight is that bend in the first picture ?
Think the locco needs cleaning,...the windows are dirty!

Thanx for compliment. The curve isn't very large. The entire layout is only
4 ft wide by 12ft long. Most of the scenery is done but for some fine
detailing & some wiring, yuk! :x :x As for the dirty windows, um it was
a very poor 1st attempt at weathering. Oh well, practice makes perfect. :D

Looks good, my T, H and 80 will look great going round! A little un-prototypical, being VR/NSWGR, but still, any opportunity to run on an exhibition-grade layout... :)

Beats the barrenness of "MDF Plains"... :P

Not a problem, thanks for that! :D

That'd be good to see some more photos, always good to see what people are doing with their layouts. And "borrow" some ideas... :) But I didn't say that....

As you can see, the layout is fairly basic. Just a simple loop really with a
shunting yard split into 2 levels. There are 4 main industries so there is
plenty of shunting to keep the operator fairly busy while still running
trains on the main line.

Wow, that looks good! :D Can't wait to have my T/H/Ys hooning around and shunting back and forth... :)

Love the "super detailing" on the former timber yard too...

Looks like there's plenty of opportunity to shunt around the "incoming" train from the loop, and sort cars here, there and everywhere. I like that in a layout, keeps things interesting.

Plenty to do, but that's most of the fun! :D Haha, just using full advantage of your "grey" water, huh? :P

To be honest, the trees were VERY awkward to 'plant'!! Dopey me did'nt
make the 'ground' thick enuff. Ever tried planting HO trees on a base
that's about 2mm thick?!!!  :? :?

Ouch, that would be pretty difficult!

Although, thanks for the heads up, but you've gotta start somewhere...

How did you end up planting them, making a base for them rather than spiking them through the "ground"?
