MMRC Meeting #12 - 16-8-08

Postby wolfpac on Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:32 am

Well, another meeting has come and gone.

Hopefully people enjoyed the meeting, and hopefully everyone's up to date now.

 I've now rang the Council about attending the Djerriwarrh Festival, we will hopefully have space for our MMRC layout and 1 trestle table at this stage. More info will be available after the forms cutoff has past, Sept 15.

 I'm still waiting on Leisure Services to get back to me regarding a short-list of "homes" for the MMRC, after calling back again this morning.

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the DCC demo, also, and learned something new about it? I'd love to see more opportunity to run "workshops" like that, and also model building, track laying, etc etc!

Also, any feedback would be most appreciated, and yes, I'm well aware I was very disorganised for this meeting!

We also need to update our email list, so please send me an email, PM me, or let me know your email address is up to date.

Finally, anyone without a name badge/lanyard, could you please let me know before our next meeting so that I can print out the new member's ones, and anyone who is also without a name badge.

G'day everyone,......

That was a great meeting,......
The DCC practical demonstration was fantastic.
A great job.

It cleared up a few points I had without me haveing to ask any questions because you covered them without realiseing it,....

I now know to get the Power cab-pro,....
For what I want,....
Now just have to add it to the shopping list for my spending spree,......

These practical displays,..demonstrations are a good way to see first hand whats what!

Well I'm glad you liked it so much, it was certainly a great idea, and very well done. (Albeit I had to leave before it was done! )

But we certainly need to do those workshop/demo/build day type things and share the knowledge around! :D
